interactive classes, WOKE & PLAYshops, as we call them, focused on happy, creative, healthy, natural living and environmental regeneration.

at Orange Blossom Jamboree 2022

The class will start off with 5 minutes of meditation followed by a 45 minute series of Hatha, ashtanga and kundalini postures. The class will finish off with 25 minutes of toning through the seven chakras along with a set of chakra singing bowls, intention setting and a powerful breath called the transformational breath before an ending meditation.

Learn about the evidence-based benefits of many common crystals and gems.

Learn to grow an abundance of food in a closet sized space. Marie-Gabrielle and Chris Twyman grow 80 percent of their food in their 15 foot long tiny home. Sprouted foods have up to 20x the nutrition of the same foods when they are cooked as opposed to sprouted.

Experience the musical artistry of world musician, Nathan Dyke. Nathan is a multi instrumentalist and artist with many years in applied vibrational healing, incorporating the sounds and frequencies of many of the world's ancient instruments.
As you connect with the exotic, hypnotic sounds of the didgeridoo, native flutes, drums, voice, and percussion, you begin to experience a feeling of deep peace that is calming, centering and grounding, even taking you into ancient recollections of another time.

Learn from Hal Bailey a polymathic artist by trade. He has been studying and practicing hands-on wilderness survival skills since childhood. He started honing his crafts in scouting troops and on family excursions. He'll be sharing his advanced knowledge in various knots, maintaining a sturdy shelter, procuring clean water, building and maintaining a fire, and foraging for food.

Join Renee as she leads us in a cacao ceremony and teaches us about the benefits of cacao. For centuries, cacao has been used to heal the mental, physical, and spiritual body. It's renowned for releasing dopamine and endorphins in the body, mood boosting and pain reducing chemicals. Cacao contains anandamide, which is known as the bliss molecule.

Through opening the heart, cacao enables us to hear our true self, work through blockages and past traumas, dissolve any pent up negative energy, and help us align with who we truly are.

It’s also a wonderful time to give ourselves mental and physical space and peace. You get to switch off, and retreat inwards, helping you to learn more about yourself, and gain clarity on where you are and where you’re headed.

Join us for this well balanced Hatha yoga practice. This is an all levels appropriate class with longer holds. Great for finding optimal alignment and a deeper meditative state within the postures.

Join Sean Maloney of DISCoverlocalDG for a class to teach the ins and outs of the popular sport, disc golf.

Come learn about the medicinal and edible properties of plants we often pass by!

Learn how to collect, prepare, and store medicinal plants, and some of the various ways to transform raw plants into products such as tisanes, decoctions, tinctures, infusions, salves, smoking blends and more!

Join Vernon and Lakesha Suber for some music making fun! This hands-on class is fun for the whole family! They'll be teaching us basics rhythms and patterns on a variety of traditionally African instruments.

Come share with Albert a session of nourishing movement, through intuitive, Hatha Style Yoga.
This is a journey rather than a class, where he will guide us towards melding our minds, bodies, and souls. All skill levels welcome, even newcomers to yoga

Join Bob as he guides the class in Qigong movements and meditations (similar to Tai Chi postures and movements) that purge, tonify, and regulate our internal organs, balances our yin and yang energy, and strengthens our Shen, Qi, Jing (Soul, Energy, Physical) bodies.

Calling all poets and lovers of words--- bring your poems to share and/or your listening ears. All are welcome!

In this class, we will tune into our bodies and flow, meditate, dance!
The class begins with a meditation where we tune inwards and open the space for the body to receive the movement it truly needs/wants. We then move through a yoga flow giving the opportunity to move freely in any poses that feels good for you! Then we will end with intuitive dance where eyes are closed and I hold space for everyone to move however they wish in an open, judgement free space.

In this workshop we will explore the healing arts of sacred music and movement. We will tap into the energy of the universe and channel this energy, using musical vibrations along with ancient dance techniques. We will begin with a grounding meditation and then work through each of the seven chakras, awakening our Kundalini. This transformational journey of sacred sound and dance will leave you feeling inspired, centered, energized and in touch with the divine spirit and passion within.
Astarte Tzighan has studied and performed a variety of different dance styles from Ballet to Middle Eastern and contemporary. She is currently offering classes and workshops in Sacred Dance as a way to explore dance as a spiritual practice and honor the divine within.
Nathan Dyke is a multi instrumentalist and artist with a passion for sharing indigenous and intentional music. He travels facilitating workshops, concerts and for the practice of Harmonic Healing.

Break out of your comfort zone in a safe, non-judgmental space by practicing fun, improv theater games with Brad Roberts!

Close out the weekend with Raychel and Marissa and their "Laughter Yoga" class. Laughter yoga involves a series of movement and breathing exercises to promote deliberate laughter.

It’s used as a remedy for physical, psychological, and spiritual ailments, as advocates believe that intentional (simulated) laughter can provide benefits equal to those of spontaneous laughter (e.g., laughing at a joke).
