Rising Light Family Festival 2020

 

 

  • The Rising Light Family Festival will be a day-long event in mid-Sept. at a local Pinellas County Park still to be determined in St. Pete, FL. 

 

  • This festival will highlight our community's movement toward environmental consciousness and holistic healing arts.

 

  • There will be 5 outdoor workshop tents with classes for all ages related to environmental sustainability, physical, mental, and spiritual wellness. 

 

  • Along with classes, throughout the day there will be live artists, roving musicians and performing artists, healthy food vendors, and local craft vendors.

 

  • In the evening, there will be an arts and goods auction and musical performances to follow.

 

  • We are looking for sponsors for each of our workshop zones and are offering various sponsorship packages for companies and individuals depending on their desired level of involvement.

 

  • All capital raised at this event will go to funding our future Hands-On Holistic Wellness & Environmental Learning Center in St. Petersburg.

 

WOKE & PLAYshop Areas:

 

Earth

Earthskill knowledge such as organic farming techniques, solar power, sustainable building, water harvesting, natural medicine, fermenting, edible & medicinal herb walks, growing microgreens, permaculture, minimalist living 

 

Fire

Body movement classes such as yoga, tai chi, qi gong, flow arts, Intuitive Movement, Belly dancing

 

Wind

 Expressive arts such as instrument petting zoo, songwriting, fiddling, drums, and visual arts

 

Water

Communication and relationships skill building, conflict resolution, social permaculture

 

Ether

Meditation, breathwork, sound healing, partnered massage

 

Sprouts

Kids area featuring yoga, edible herb walk, worm composting, planting seeds, parachute play, scavenger hunt, arts and crafts, and gardening
